Alzheimer’s talk set for Nov. 12
BEDFORD – An "Alzheimer’s/Dementia Talk for Families" will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Seniors Helping Seniors, 360 Route 101, Suite 3B.
The program covers the definition of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, an explanation of changes in the brain and other systems causing the difficulties associated with dementia as well as latest research and the challenges to care and approaches that help to reduce stress for caregivers.
Judy Loubier, CDP, (Certified Dementia Practitioner) will be presenting. She graduated in 1985 from Northeastern University with a degree in physical therapy. Loubier has 30 years of experience and is a certified senior advisor and certified dementia practitioner. She is a business owner and executive director of Seniors Helping Seniors of Southern New Hampshire and Maine.
