Craftworkers’ Guild presents Open Doors weekend Nov. 6-8

BEDFORD – The Craftworkers’ Guild announced this year’s Open Shop Weekend, which will take place from Friday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 8, at the historic Kendall House in Bedford.

A not-to-be-missed stop on the New Hampshire Open Doors statewide touring and shopping event weekend, the shop will be open daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

More than 60 Guild member artisans and craftspeople are participating in this year’s Open Shop Weekend.

"The Craftworkers’s Guild is pleased to open this shop as part of a statewide effort by New Hampshire Open Doors to showcase New Hampshire’s vibrant and growing artisan community. Our shop features a varied selection of locally made products that offers something for every taste from traditional New England to very contemporary pieces," said Carol Davis, president of the Craftworkers’ Guild.

The Craftworkers’ Guild offers customers a wide variety of crafts. Work presented in the Open Doors shop is juried by the Guild to maintain a standard of unique, quality offerings. Many items are one-of-a-kind and include seasonal decor, photography, fine art and prints, cards, gourmet treats, shaker boxes, woodworking, fiber and fabric, sewn and knitted specialties, stained and fused glass art, mixed media, jewelry in several medias, doll clothes and more.

In response to requests, the shop will now be open one hour later each evening, closing at 5 p.m. in order to give visitors more time to get started on their seasonal and holiday shopping.

Parking is free. Visit or the Craftworkers’ Guild Facebook page for updates and a sampling of crafts.
