School to host business expo

Bedford High School will host a Small Business Expo from noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, in the school gym. This expo is an opportunity for the community to learn more about local companies. There will be 38 student-run booths representing different companies from the Bedford/Manchester area.

This expo is a class project for Marketing I students at Bedford High, and provides the students with a marketing experience with an aim to promote local small businesses. These students have dedicated a large amount of time and effort to learn about and promote these companies and are eager to engage with the community at the expo.

"The Small Business Expo is a great way for students to get real-world, hands-on marketing experience in the classroom. I’m thrilled so many local businesses agreed to participate in the event. We hope to make this an annual tradition at Bedford High School," said marketing teacher Christina Wilczewski.
