Take a one-night tour of Italy
Paul and Mary Ellen Monico have visited Italy 18 times since 1999. Today, they own a home there. Paul is a former military pilot, engineer and the author of a travel essay entitled "The Italian Chronicles of a Rogue Tourist." Mary Ellen, his companion during these adventures, is a retired teacher. Together they share a love for all things Italian.
On Thursday, Nov. 19, the Bedford Italian Cultural Society will host the couple as they take us on a photographic tour, not of the familiar Italian tourist meccas, but of three lesser known locations which they love. Bring your travel companions to the Bedford Library at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. but you can come to socialize at 6 p.m. Donations to defray the cost of the program are appreciated, or, consider becoming a member for $20 per year. Bedford residency and Italian heritage are not required.
