Brookline Afterschool Ski Program holding registration
The Brookline Afterschool Ski Program will be held at Pats Peak Ski Area on Fridays for five weeks starting Feb. 19.
The program is open to all students in the area from first grade through high school. It is open to home schoolers, students attending private schools and students from other towns.
Online registration is preferred; it can be completed at patspeak/winter.com. Go to Learn to Ski/Ride.
The user name is beski and the password 03033.
Parents can print out a brochure for reference directly from the Web page. Brochures will be sent to each student who returns the interest form, and are available in each school office.
Registration is due by Thursday, Jan. 14; after that there is a late fee of $25. There are two scholarships available.
Students traditionally have been released 15 minutes early on ski days. Lessons are optional and are at 4:30, and you can stay as long or short as you like afterward. Transportation is the responsibility of the parents, with carpooling possible.
This is not a school-sponsored program.
