Merrimack man joins construction company

WOBURN, Mass. – Tocci Building Cos., a Boston-area construction manager, announced that Breton "Brett" Flanders, of Merrimack, has joined the firm as project executive/director of construction.

Flanders has a 25-year background in design and engineering on a variety of high-profile hospital, health care and higher education projects in the Boston area. He will oversee day-to-day construction, management and administrative activities for assigned projects.

"Brett brings a diverse and valuable background in design, engineering and construction, and will employ his efficient and effective building practices in his new role at Tocci," said Tocci’s chief enabling officer, John Tocci.

Flanders received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at Ohio University and his Master of Science in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Rhode Island. He is a certified professional engineer in Maine and Massachusetts.

Flanders also serves on the local youth baseball board of directors.
