Bedford High School bands presents Holiday Concert

The Bedford High School Concert Band, Jazz Band and Choirs held their 9th annual Holiday Concert at the Bedford High School Theater on Wednesday evening, Dec. 9.

The evening began with the BHS Jazz Band performing a medley of "Silent Night" and "Go Tell It on the Mountain," followed by "Can’t Buy Me Love" and "Santa Baby" featuring Jasmen Hunter on vocals.

The Concert Choir performed "Personent Hodie" and "Din Don! Merrily on High" while the Chamber Choir performed "When Comes This Rush of Wings," "Silent Night," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Jingle Bells." The Combined Choirs then performed "Lullay My Liking," "Gloria," "Angels’ Carol," "Here’s a Pretty Little Baby" and a choral suite of "Frozen" with solos by students Audrey Reber, Amanda Lee, Hannah Frederick, Morgan Barnsley, Donny Crowder, Jasmen Hunter and Andrew Alvarado.

The BHS Concert Band closed out the evening with their performance of "The Great Locomotive Chase," "Sleigh Ride" and "Eiger."
