Bedford Garden Club’s spring plant sale set for May 21

For your spring planting needs, visit the Bedford Garden Club’s Plant Sale from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, May 21.

This annual event will take place indoors at Bedford’s Town Hall, 70 Bedford Center Road, in a "garden-room" filled with hundreds of plants for sale, many of which come from members’ own gardens.

A wonderful variety of perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, ground covers, and shrubs will be available. Typical plant prices range from $2 to $10 depending upon size. Some commercially grown plants will add to the variety of offerings for sale.

Several Master Gardeners of the club will be on hand to answer your questions about plant varieties and growing conditions.

This one-day-only event is the club’s primary fundraiser. Come early for the best selection. Proceeds from the Plant Sale are used to fund garden-related educational programs that are open to the public and to maintain the club’s eight community gardens located throughout Bedford for the enjoyment of both residents and visitors.
