Farmers Market opens for season June 14

BEDFORD – Tuesday, June 14 marks the opening day of the annual Bedford Farmers Market. The market runs every Tuesday through Oct. 4 in the St. Elizabeth Seton church parking lot, 190 Meetinghouse Road. The market is open from 3-6 p.m. each Tuesday and hosts more than 30 vendors, a guest chef, family crafts, local musicians and one featured non-profit.

On June 14, the market will commence with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Bedford Town manager Rick Sawyer. Be prepared to move to the sounds of the Spirit Song Drummers, a southern New Hampshire drumming group that will perform from 4-5 p.m. Cupcakes 101 will be handing out some of their cupcakes while local chef Scot Kinney, owner of Unwine’d and the Key West Cafe and Grille, will be whipping up some dishes for patrons to sample with ingredients collected that day from the market vendors.

Vendors will offer local produce, meats, dairy, eggs, olive oil, baked goods, dog treats, honey, jams and jellies, lotions and soaps, granola, soup, fish and more. For more information, visit
