Hannaford registered dietitian at Bedford Farmers Market
BEDFORD – On Tuesday, July 19, the Bedford Farmers Market will host registered dietitian Heidi Kerman.
Kerman has been involved in many health programs throughout New Hampshire including health seminars, cooking classes, schools and worksite wellness fairs. Kerman also does individual nutrition counseling through a private practice.
Beginning her career as a Hannaford dietitian in 2013, Kerman now serves the Londonderry and Bedford stores offering cooking demos, nutrition classes and store tours on a variety of interactive topics. Visit the market on July 19 to learn about customizing your nutrition and cooking with food allergies.
Musician Jeff Mrozek will be playing at the market and shoppers will be able to enjoy munching on samples made by guest chef William Howard.
Howard will be volunteering his time to help shoppers with new menu ideas by utilizing the produce provided by farmers at the market.
There is a wide assortment of great produce in season and available for consumers to purchase and enjoy including; lettuce, blueberries, zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, garlic and herbs. In addition to produce, there is also the following items available at the market; freshly-made goat cheese, honey, fresh seafood, soup, granola, pottery, chocolate and much more.
