New veterinary center opens in Bedford
BEDFORD – The Bedford Veterinary Medical Center is a new, full-service hospital that practices the highest quality of medicine with the utmost care and compassion.
Fully staffed and equipped, the BVMC is able to provide a variety of care ranging from wellness exams and sick visits to surgeries for any household pet. Clients can expect high-quality digital radiographs and have lab work results within minutes. Experienced staff closely monitors patients with modern anesthesia equipment. The in-house pharmacy makes filling and refilling prescriptions quick and painless, and most prescriptions can be filled the same day.
The BVMC is staffed by a variety of experienced doctors, technicians and receptionists, all of whom pride themselves on their compassion and knowledge in the veterinary field.
Owned by Bedford resident Dr. Sudha Komma, the BVMC is her second veterinary practice in the area. Komma has lived in Bedford for six years with her husband, two children and her Chihuahua. She holds an MA in veterinary microbiology, an MA in public health from Boston University, and received her veterinary degree from Tufts Cummings Veterinary School.
