Primrose School fundraiser brings community together

Primrose School at Bedford Hills recently conducted its second annual Spring Fling fundraiser to raise awareness and money for worthwhile causes. This year’s event raised $3,500, which was donated to the Primrose Children’s Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on and supports the needs of young children and families.

"At Primrose, we’re committed to teaching our students about helping others and giving without expectation year-round," said Jim Barnes, owner of the school. "Not only were we able to raise funds for a great cause, but our Spring Fling event also gave local families, friends and our staff an opportunity to come together in a fun and exciting way."

Funds raised for the Primrose Children’s Foundation will be used to support Save the Children, the world’s top independent charity for children in need and a national partner of Primrose Schools. The organization has robust programs, such as child sponsorship and emergency preparedness.
