Join the Manchester Community Music School Summer Band

MANCHESTER – Do you play an instrument? Did you play one in high school but haven’t picked it up in years? Whether you started playing your instrument two years ago or 50 years ago, you are welcome to join the Manchester Community Music School Summer Band.

Conducted by Ed Doyle, this intergenerational ensemble is made up of community members from 10 years old to 80 years young, from all walks of life.

The band rehearses on Wednesday evenings beginning on June 7, from 6-8 p.m., at the Music School (2291 Elm St.) Come to the first couple of rehearsals, and check us out. You’ll see a great group of people that love to come together and have a fabulous time making music.

The MCMS Summer Band performs a series of free concerts throughout the summer; the first is scheduled for June 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bedford Market Basket Gazebo. For a full list of concert dates and times visit www.mcmusicschool.org or call the Music School at 644-4548.
