Master Sgt. John Krumlauf, formerly of Milford, retires from Air Force
John Krumlauf, son of James and Elizabeth Lankford, of Indianapolis, recently retired at the rank of master sergeant from in the Air Force.
Krumlauf is a 1991 graduate of Milford Area Senior High and a 2010 graduate of the Community College of the Air Force. He has an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
Krumlauf had a 20-year career as a security forces airman. He served at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming and Osan Air Base in South Korea, and was stationed at Khobar Towers in Dharan, Saudi Arabia. Krumlauf’s final assignment was as the noncommissioned officer in charge of missile operations in Wyoming.
Krumlauf finished his final tour with his wife, Shannon (Penney) Krumlauf, of Denver City, Texas, and their daughter, Brianne.
