Greater Nashua nonprofits receive $1,100 in donations
AMHERST – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Amherst announced it has donated a total of $1,100 to three local nonprofit organizations through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s charitable foundation.
The donations were made to the Nashua Children’s Home, Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter and Share Outreach.
The Nashua Children’s Home provides housing and support services to boys and girls in southern New Hampshire, as well as an educational program for students ages 7-15 with educational disabilities.
The Nashua Soup Kitchen provides food, emergency shelter, and rent and fuel assistance to people in need
Share is a nonprofit organization based in Milford that offers food, clothing and emergency financial assistance to families in need in Amherst, Brookline, Milford and Mont Vernon.
“We are committed to offering our support to organizations that provide vital services to individuals and families in the communities that we serve,” said Dave Hennessey, sales manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Amherst.
“All three of these programs are critical, as they help people who are struggling to afford basic necessities like food and shelter.”
Sales associates and employees in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island donate a portion of their sales commissions or paychecks to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares. Since it was established in 2003, Brokerage Cares has donated millions of dollars to hundreds of nonprofit organizations in the region.
