Lyndeborough’s Central School celebrates Thanksgiving

LYNDEBOROUGH – Students at Central School in Lyndeborough enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Students, staff and guests gathered in the activity room where members of the Parent-Teacher Association served turkey, mashed potatoes and apple crisp. PTA members prepared the meal, except for the butter, which was churned by first-graders.

Guests included members of the school board, town officials, the police chief, ambulance director and emergency personnel.

After the meal, a program, “Good Character,” was presented by Magic Jim, as a lesson in how to deal with bullying.
