2 new Lyndeborough police officers hired

LYNDEBOROUGH – Police Chief Rainsford Deware announced the hiring of two new police officers in Lyndeborough.

Richard Sprankle will serve as a part-time sergeant. He has almost 30 years of experience in law enforcement, including patrol, investigation, training, supervision and administration. He will be the department’s second-in-command.

Michael Chapdelaine has 16 years experience in law enforcement and four years as a military police officer in the U.S. Army. He has experience in corrections, patrol, supervision, training and investigations. He will be a part-time patrol officer.

Both new officers were sworn into office Jan. 30.
