Presented by Pine Hill Waldorf School’s
seventh- and eighth-grade students, this year’s presentation features exotic creatures, strong men, jugglers, magic, skilled acrobats and incredible feats of daring. You’re invited along for a circus adventure that gets curiouser and curiouser. This show is perfect for all ages.

Performances of the Hilltop Circus will be held at Pine Hill Waldorf School at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 and at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday, March 1. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12 and went on sale Monday, Feb. 10. Tickets can be purchased at the Toadstool Bookshop in Milford or Putnam’s Clothing in Wilton. For online ticket purchases, go to

“Circus is a Wonderland!” is directed by veteran circus performer, producer and teacher Sara Greene, who continues the work of Hilltop Circus founder Jacqueline Davis in leading students in conceptualizing, producing and performing what promises to be a winning show.

Greene will collaborate with longtime Hilltop Circus Band director and composer, Leslie Vogel. Vogel brings with her the Youth and Community Fiddle Orchestra, playing music she has composed and arranged. When she is not composing circus music, Vogel can be seen and heard in the Folk Soul Band and in Tattoo, New England’s acoustic dance band.

Pine Hill Waldorf School is an independent private primary school enrolling now for the 2014 school year with classes for children from birth through eighth grade.
