Mont Vernon man in Lyndeborough accident

LYNDEBOROUGH – A Mont Vernon man escaped injury last week when his car went off the road and hit a tree on Route 31, north of
Winn Road. Lyndeborough police were assisted by Greenfield police to the scene, near 731 Forest Road (Route 31).

Police Chief Rainsford Deware reported Zachury P. Hutchinson, 31, was driving a 2008 Toyota Tacoma around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, when the accident occurred. The car was pulled from the snow by Mike’s Auto and driven from the scene.

On Nov. 27, Hutchinson was driving a Toyota Camry on Route 101 in Dublin when he careened off the road and took out a telephone pole. Police say he fell asleep at the wheel, according to the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript.

He was also charged with theft by Amherst police on Feb. 1.
