Pets of the week for Feb. 16

Humane Society for Greater Nashua

Aren’t we just the cutest pair around? We are two mature rat terrier mixes who need to find a family who’s willing to adopt both of us. We have lived together our whole lives, and are much too bonded to be separated. We’ve also lived with other dogs and wouldn’t mind doing so again. We are still very active pups who really love to go on our walks together every day. Since we have each other for company, we really won’t ask for much other than a warm, comfy bed and a family to love us! If you come meet us, you’ll see what a great addition we could make to your home, and will keep you entertained with our cute little quirks!

The Humane Society for Greater Nashua is at 24 Ferry Road, Nashua. Hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit, call 889-2275 or email

Luna is a 3-year-old German shepherd mix who weighs 50 pounds. She is a beauty and very sweet. She adores human companionship. She is an active gal who loves walks, going for runs, playing tug and fetch. Yet, she also likes nothing more than to curl up next to a human to relax and snuggle. She is good with children. Luna hasn’t been exposed to cats. She can be anxious or excitable when meeting new dogs, but warms up fast. She is up to date with all of her vaccinations, has no known allergies and loves treats.

Hours by appointment only. For more information, visit, email or call 233-4801. Meet our adoptable pets at our monthly Pet Adoption Day at the Pelham Congregational Church, 3 Main St. The next one is 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22.
