Amherst-based packing supply company now serving the United States
AMHERST – On Monday, Feb. 24, My Daddy’s Boxes made its official launch.
The New Hampshire-based online moving and packing supply company is now ready to serve not only New Hampshire, but the entire United States.
The company was created by the owner and employees of College Bound Movers, the 22-year-old moving company based in Amherst.
“Working with moving customers throughout New England, we realized that many of them were having a difficult time finding quality moving supplies for a reasonable price,” said Bryce Ouellette, College Bound Movers’ and My Daddy’s Boxes’ general manager. “We created the solution that was missing in this market place, which is a website where people can buy all the supplies they need at their convenience, and not have to worry about driving from place to place right before a move.”
MyDaddysBoxes.com is an online marketplace that is streamlined to help customers know exactly how many boxes or supplies they need to buy. All a customer needs to do is count the number of rooms he or she is moving, and that’s the size of the moving kit they need to purchase. The kits were assembled using the more than 20 years’ experience of the employees at the local moving company.
“Since our moving team has packed thousands of houses, we have a good read on how many boxes and the sizes a customer will need. We took that knowledge and streamlined the process so customers don’t have to make guesses anymore,” Ouellette said.
Also joining My Daddy’s Boxes under the College Bound Movers umbrella is Granite Clover Self Storage, the self storage company, MI-BOX New England, the portable self storage company, and three Penske dealerships.
