Local senior citizens invited to Milford Rotary Club’s annual chicken barbecue

MILFORD – For 36 years the Milford Rotary has been inviting seniors living in the local area to join them for a free, no-reservations-needed barbecue.

Rotarians, assisted by Lesli Rendall’s Souhegan High students and other student groups, do all of the cooking, serving and clean-up. Rotarians are asked to pay $20 for their lunch that day and the money will help offset the cost of this community service event.

The barbecue will be held at noon Wednesday, May 7, at the Souhegan Valley Boys and Girls Club, 56 Mont Vernon St., Milford.
