Route 101 hearing in Milford

MILFORD – The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold a combined public informational meeting to discuss proposed improvements to Route 101, from Wilton Road to the intersection of Elm Street, North River Road, and the Milford Bypass.

This project is part of the larger Wilton-
Milford-Amherst-
Bedford project listed in the state’s 10-year transportation plan.

The public meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at the Milford Town Hall Auditorium, 1 Union Square.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Also, historic properties may exist within the project area.
