Got talent? Milford Pumpkin Festival looking for entertainers

MILFORD – Can you sing, dance, juggle balls or make people laugh?

If you have any unusual talent and are older than age 12, the organizers of the Milford Pumpkin Festival’s Talent Show want you.

The show will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Amato Theater.

Auditions will take place from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Amato Theater, 56 Mont Vernon St., Milford, and interested performers can sign up now at www.milford
pumpkinfestival.org.

The closing date for entries is Tuesday, Sept. 23.

Four prizes will be awarded: $500 for first, $200 to first runner-up, $100 to second runner-up and $100 to audience favorite.

The festival is organized each year on behalf of the town by the Milford Improvement Team, a nonprofit whose mission is a public-private partnership working to promote, revitalize and enhance the historic, natural, social and economic vitality of Milford.

The talent show is sponsored by Family Dental Care of Milford, Hurst and DeGraffenried Wealth Management, and Apple Therapy Services.

Presenting sponsors of the 25th annual festival are St. Josephs Hospital, Centrix Bank, Odd Fellows Lodge 23 Milford, Blase Electric, Kokko Realty and Atlas Pyrotechnics.
