Local businesses featured at Southern NH Expo in Milford

MILFORD – The Southern New Hampshire Expo will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Hampshire Dome.

The event is the largest business expo in New Hampshire, with more than 200 booths and an anticipated crowd of 3,000-6,000 attendees. It showcases the best of the region’s businesses and services, from restaurants and food producers offering samples of their signature dishes to products and services for home and business.

The expo features new events, such as a Kidz Zone with bounce houses, face painting and a “Mad Scientist” to keep the kids entertained while mom and dad visit with exhibitors.

Stage entertainment will be new and varied, too, with music, dance and a show featuring “Mad Science of Southern New Hampshire.”

Performances will include the West Street Beat, Rhythmic Revolutions, the Riverbend Youth Theater and Vouli Dance of Amherst, which will preview “The Nutcracker.”

Attendees can enter to win a season pass for a family of five to Crotched Mountain Ski Resort – a $1,500 value.

The expo is sponsored by the Bank of New Hampshire, The Cabinet Press, Charles Schwab, Crotched Mountain Ski Resort and Triangle Credit Union. It is coordinated by the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce, promoting economic development and business opportunities in the 11 towns of the Souhegan Valley.
