Boston Bruins to play alumni game in Nashua

NASHUA – The Nashua Panthers will host a Boston Bruins alumni game at Conway Arena at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16.

“This is a real honor to welcome so many Boston Bruins alumni players to Nashua,” Nashua Panthers President Bobby Bennett said. “It’s a great chance for all of our youth hockey players, families and fans to see former Boston Bruins players up close and personal right in their home arena at Conway Arena.

Some of the Bruins alumni who have been invited are Rick Middleton, Andy Brickley, Terry O’Reilly, Bob Beers, Reggie Lemelin, Ken Linseman, John Carter, Bob Sweeney, Bruce Crowder, Tom Songin, Dave Shaw, Cleon Daskalakis, Bruce Shoebottom and Ted Donato, along with Bob Cormier, director of hockey operations; John Horrigan, game announcer; and Don Garcia, referee.

Proceeds will be put back into the community to benefit families in need of assistance who would like to participate in the Panthers youth hockey program but are unable to because of equipment and tuition costs.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. For tickets or more information, contact Bennett at 1-781-414-9146 or bennett_bobby@yahoo.com. Tickets also will be available at the door.
