Milford craft fair day is Saturday Santa visits Oval on Sunday

MILFORD – Instead of going to the mall to buy holiday gifts, find the spirit of Christmas locally.

The Milford Improvement Team and the town of Milford invite everyone to join them for the annual Holiday Craft Fairs and Events day on Dec. 6 in and around the Oval.

There will be a selection of home-made crafts and farm products offered by 13 Milford nonprofit organizations, including churches and community groups, with fair hours (depending on the site) from 8 or 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.

The Milford Indoor Farmers Market will also be held in Town Hall auditorium from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

And the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.

On Saturday, Dec. 6 there will be a tree lighting on the Oval at 6 p.m., with a performance by the Souhegan Valley Chorus.

Santa will be there from noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, sponsored by the Milford Lions Club, and with cocoa and cookies and a mailman to collect letters for Santa.
