43rd NH Camping & RV Show set for Bedford

Camping provides some of the best opportunities to experience the great outdoors. One of the best ways to get ready for your camping trips is to attend the 43rd annual New Hampshire Camping & RV Show at the New Hampshire Sportsplex, 68 Technology Drive, Bedford.

The show, hosted by the New Hampshire Campground Owners Association, will run from 1-8 p.m. Friday, March 27; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, March 28; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, March 29.

The show features a large selection of campgrounds, RV dealers and camping equipment; camping rental units; information on New Hampshire attractions, events and activities; and free educational seminars.

Those planning a camping getaway can get information from more than 50 campgrounds in New Hampshire and neighboring states. Visitor information on statewide attractions is available from the New Hampshire Department of Travel & Tourism, White Mountain Attractions and various New Hampshire regions at the show.

Seminars will include “First Time Buyers” at 2 and 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, “Camping Without a Camper” at 4 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday, “Get the Most Out of Your Holding Tank,” and an education class on roofs, slide-outs and sidewall seams.

The show will have fun activities for children, including a bounce house, face painting and photographs with the Woodland Animals.

Admission is $10 (cash only) for adults and free for children 12 and younger (accompanied by a paid adult). Attendees receive $2 off their admission with a donation of two nonperishable food items for the New Hampshire Food Bank. For more information, visit ucampnh.com.
