Volunteers needed at therapeutic equestrian center in Goffstown

GOFFSTOWN – UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center needs volunteers to help in the barn or provide support in therapeutic horseback riding and driving lessons.

Barn volunteers will provide assistance with turning out horses, mucking stalls, sweeping, scrubbing water buckets, cleaning tack, and mowing and weed-whacking. Volunteers should be at least 14 and able to lift 40 pounds; they must be at least 16 to operate mowing equipment.

Lesson volunteers must attend a training session from 1-4 p.m. Monday, June 15, or 6-9 p.m. Thursday, June 18. Volunteers should be at least 14 and able to walk with jogging mixed in for 40-60 minutes to volunteer in lessons.

No prior horse experience is necessary.
