Boys & Girls Club wins award

MILFORD – The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley received the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Marketing and Communications Award during the or­ganization’s 109th annual national con­ference held recently in Chicago.

Souhegan Valley was selected among hundreds of clubs across the country for implementing the best marketing strategy, receiving a Bronze Award in the Comprehensive Marketing Strat­egy category and a Gold Award for out­standing publications.

"I was very honored to accept the award on behalf of Kevin Salemi, our di­rector of development and marketing," said Susan Taylor, Souhegan Valley ex­ecutive director. "The award recognizes his excellence as a marketing communi­cations professional."

Mark M. O’Brien, Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, presented the award to Taylor.
