FRES traffic pattern hearing set
WILTON – The Board of Selectmen will hold a public information hearing at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, July 27, at the town hall, to discuss changes in the traffic patterns and parking spaces at the newly renovated Florence Rideout Elementary School.
The board expects to make necessary decisions at their regular meeting following the hearing.
School will open for the year on Monday, Sept. 1, and the new regulations have to be in place prior to that to give parents time to be notified of the changes.
The discussion will include Park, Livermore, Tremont and Prince Streets and will cover new access to the school, drop off areas for parents and bus loading and unloading areas. Included are access routes to the school, one way streets, new parking areas, and signs.
