AMHERST

March 2

Police arrested Joshua Portnoy, 26, of Wilton, on charges of theft, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Portnoy was released on $5,000 bail, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

Police arrested Kimberlee Gerlack, 29, of Wilton, on charges of theft, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled drug. Gerlack was released on $5,000 bail, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

March 3

Police arrested William King, 33, of Milford, on a charge of operating after suspension. King was released on $2,500 bail, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

March 4

Police arrested Randy Koehler, 26, of Amherst, on an electronic bench warrant issued by Milford District Court. Koehler was held in lieu of $1,00 cash bail, with an arraignment date set or March 6.

Police arrested Allen Perley, 9, of Rowley, Mass. on charges of possession of a controlled drug, transportation of a controlled drug and transportation of alcohol by a minor. Perley was released on $800 bail, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

March 5

Police arrested Jelani Grant-Hart, 24, of Milford, on a charge of driving after suspension, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Salem District Court. Grant-Hart was released on $500 bail on the Amherst charge, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

March 7

Police arrested Jason Kasilowski, 41, of Lowell, Mass. on a charge of theft. Kasilowski was held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, with an arraignment date set for March 7.

Police arrested Miriann Romancini, 21, of Peterborough, on a charge of theft. Romancini was released on $600 bail, with an arraignment date set for March 23.

MILFORD

March 5

Police arrested McKenzie P. Carter, 20, of 28 Lincoln St., Apt. 39, Milford, with operating with a suspended or revoked license.

WILTON

Feb. 24

While sitting on Main Street police observed a driver pass him holding a cell phone and looking at the screen. Police issued a warning for violation of the hands-free law.

Feb. 25

Police responded to Route 101 near Russell Hill Road for a single-car accident involving Jenna Narkum, 28, of Hancock. Narkum was transported to a hospital to be checked.

Feb. 28

Police arrested Bradley Desmarais, 25, of Deering on a warrant for aggravated sexual assault.

He was held on $10,000 cash bail and transported to Valley Street jail, with a court date of March 1.

March 1

Police spoke with a Wilton Center resident about an email scam. The resident answered an ad for at-home employment and became suspicious when the “company” said they would send her a check to buy software. Police advised her to discontinue contact.

Police arrested Reana Moran, 26, of Penacook, for DWI and driving after suspension. Moran was released on $5,000 bail and a March 1 court date.

March 2

Police responded to numerous reports of tree limbs and wires down all over town.

March 3

Police responded to a single-car accident on McGettigan Road. Lena Jenkins, 41, of Merrimack said she was not injured and a friend had called Triple A for a tow and was coming to get her. Police, however, detected a smell of alcohol, conducted tests and arrested Jenkins for DWI. She was released on $2,500 bail and a March 7 court date.

Police responded to Intervale Road at 10:06 p.m. for an unwanted subject. A wife wanted her husband to leave for the night because of a dispute over lost keys. The keys were found; the wife changed her mind after talking with the officer.
