Children aid food pantry

LYNDEBOROUGH – The 57 students at the Early Learning Center spent two weeks collecting nonperishable food and other items for the Open Cupboard Food Pantry in Wilton.

On Friday, April 14, they loaded their donations into the back of a station wagon brought by Open Cupboard Directors Roger and Linda Ladouceur. Students helped carry out bags of donations.

The Learning Center is the district’s cooperative kindergarten and preschool.

The food pantry recently moved into new quarters in the Wilton Falls Building, where, Roger Ladouceur said, “it looks like a grocery store and everything is working well.”

The food pantry serves residents of Wilton, Lyndeborough, Greenfield and Temple.
