WLC seniors visit elementary school

WILTON – The first met the last, and it was a grand parade.

For the second year in what is to become a tradition, Wilton-Lyndeborough

Cooperative seniors – wearing their caps and gowns – were escorted to Florence Rideout Elementary School by a fire truck and police cars on Thursday, June 8.

They were met by Principal Tim O’Connell. On a march through the halls, they met and exchanged high-fives with the first-graders – the Class of 2028.

The seniors posed on The Flat with the fifth-graders, who will move up to the middle school in the fall.

Although none of the seniors had attended this new version of FRES, many of them had attended the elementary school, some having lived in Wilton for all 12 years of their schooling.
