Shaping the ‘best of’ ballot: Input sought from public

SVCC Executive Director Wendy Hunt said the survey will be available on the Chamber’s Website for a month, to allow prospective voters time to make their choices in each of the categories. Roughly 350 voters participated last year, Hunt said, adding that business owners “really look forward” to the annual event.

“I think as we get newer businesses, and as others change, it’s good to have some fresh ideas,” Hunt said. “And I think the public and businesses in the area are the best ones to determine that.”

The survey can be found at Those interested can check in ahead of the voting process to give voters, and local businesses, a chance to help shape this year’s ballot.
