Knights of Columbus present St. Patrick’s Day show

The Knights of Columbus will present their 12th annual “Little Bit of Ireland” show on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, at the St. John Neumann Hall, at 708 Milford Road, 101A Pennichuck Square in Merrimack.

Along with the Irish entertainment, the evening will feature a traditional corn beef and cabbage dinner beginning at 7 p.m., with the show to follow shortly thereafter.

The show features John Ogrodowczyk, a noted Irish tenor from Hollis, who has sung locally and at Fenway Park for the Red Sox. His guests will be a host of performers, including the McGonagle Irish Step Dancers with their traditional costumes; the Youth and Community Fiddle Orchestra; the Flying Gravity Circus’ antics, the Shenanigans quartet playing their brand of Irish foot-tapping, hand-clapping tunes; Fiona Graham with her magical harp; Veto Narkunas, who likes to reach out and touch the audience with his smile; and Jann and Dave Taylor with vocal and piano accompaniment.

All proceeds from this Irish Benefit will go toward the Nancy O. Fund and the Knights of Columbus charities. The Nancy O. Fund is part of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and its aim is to give kids the opportunity to experience the joy and magic of the performing arts. The Knights of Columbus is the largest lay Catholic organization in the world with more than 1.7 million members. Throughout its history, the organization has contributed billions of dollars and millions of hours of volunteer service to charity.
