Nashua man charged with DWI after crashing car into Hollis home

HOLLIS – The Seahawks were well on their way blowing away the Denver Broncos by 8:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2, but one family in Hollis had a whole other type of excitement coming their way.

Hollis police were called to 84 Depot Road around 8:40 p.m. when a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Dana Thomas, 34, of Cranwell Court in Nashua, crashed in to the home, police said.

No one was injured and police determined that Thomas had been driving west on Depot Road when he left the roadway and bashed into the building. Thomas was arrested at the scene and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, police said.

Thomas was later released on $750 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at Nashua district court on Feb. 13, police said.
