Food drive set in Hollis

HOLLIS – The owner of Bark Easy Pet Grooming of Hollis, Carol Hurlburt, and her daughter, Melissa, have organized a food drive for the Nashua Soup Kitchen along with other businesses at the Hollis Village Marketplace.

They’ve held a food drive in the past and it was successful. This time, they opened it up to all businesses in the marketplace and the Hollis Veterinary Clinic, just around the corner on Route 122. Hurlburt is excited to help the soup kitchen since it is one of many great organizations out there that help people in need.

Bring donations to any of the following businesses and they have boxes set up for items. Remember to check your expiration dates as due to the Department of Health rules and regulations the soup kitchen cannot accept expired items. Participating businesses are:

? Bark Easy Pet Grooming

? Harvest Market

? Edward Jones

? Hollis Family Chiropractic

? Hollis Hair and Beyond

? Hollis Preschool

? Hollis Town Clerk

? Hollis Veterinary Clinic

? Life Long Fitness

Bark Easy Pet Grooming is raffling off two $50 Bark Easy gift certificates with a raffle ticket for each item donated.

Hollis Veterinary Clinic is raffling off a three pack of Frontline Plus up to a $70 value as well as a raffle ticket for each item donated.
