Hollis man arrested after overdosing on heroin, police say

HOLLIS – Medical personnel on Saturday, April 5, treated a Broad Street man for a reported heroin overdose, after which police arrested him at a local hospital for possession of the drug, according to authorities.

Police said that Christopher J. Tomer, 23, was arraigned in Nashua district court on Monday, April 7, on one count of possession of heroin, a Class B felony.

Police said they initially responded to a Broad Street residence just before 10 a.m. Saturday, when an ambulance was dispatched for a reported overdose. They arrived to find a male, later identified as Tomer, being treated by medics.

After an investigation, officers went to the hospital and made the arrest, police said.
