Championship chorus to present ‘That’s Amore!’ in Merrimack

MERRIMACK – Do you need a little extra romance in your life? Why celebrate just on Valentine’s Day?

Plan on coming to “That’s Amore!” The romantic Italian dinner and show will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, presented by the 2014 international gold medal championship a cappella chorus New England Voices in Harmony.

The event will include a silent auction in addition to the dinner and performances by the chorus and quartets.

The chorus is directed by Renee Tramack, who has more than 30 years of directing experience and is a certified singing judge with Harmony Inc., an international nonprofit, educational and singing organization for women.

Guest stars will include Moonstruck, Harmony Inc.’s 2014 gold medalist championship quartet, and Downtown Crossing, the 2013 Northeast District championship men’s quartet.

Moonstruck features Jennifer Selby singing lead and Kate Steer singing tenor, both of Nashua. Jeanne Crowell, of Amherst, sings bass, and Kari-Lynn Knight, of Hudson, sings baritone.

Downtown Crossing, consisting of tenor Seth Orenstein, lead Joey Constantine, baritone Dan Costello and bass Ben Orenstein, is a registered quartet of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

The Von Tramack Family Singers of Nashua will round out the guests; Renee, Steve, Christina, Samantha and Joshua Tramack will perform.

The event will be held at St. John Neumann Church Hall, 708 Milford Road, Route 101A, Merrimack. Tickets are $30 each or $50 for two. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
