Brookline festivities include parade

BROOKLINE – Brook­line’s annual Fourth of July Parade, sponsored by the Brookline Lions Club, will be followed by the annual Family Fun Day sponsored by the Hollis-Brookline Ro­tary and Brookline Lions Club.

Businesses, organizations, sport teams, bands and indi­viduals are welcome to par­ticipate in the parade.

Groups from Mason are enthusiastically invited to join.

Volunteers are needed to blow up balloons at 9 a.m. at Town Hall.

Parade participants will line up at 9 a.m. on South Main Street, next to Pine Grove Cemetery.

The parade will proceed up Main Street to Rich­ard Maghakian Memo­rial School, and the Fam­ily Fun Day will follow immediately afterward at Brookline Ball Park on Francis Drive.

There will be free ham­burgers and hot dogs and tons of fun, family-friendly games.
