Special attractions highlight Beaver Brook Fall Festival
HOLLIS – The Beaver Brook Association invites the public to its 35th annual Fall Festival & Nature Show, held 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27 at Maple Farm, 117 Ridge Road. Admission is free.
This year there are two firsts for the Fall Festival. On Saturday, Sept. 26, Re/Max is donating their hot air balloon from 4-6 p.m., weather permitting. They will be providing tethered balloon rides ($10 per person) as a fundraiser for Beaver Brook. This will provide an amazing opportunity to view Beaver Brook from the sky. So grab your cameras and take some wonderful photographs.
During the two-day festival there will be many opportunities to get up close and personal with animals and nature. The second new event at our Fall Festival is on Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Carriage Shack Farm from Londonderry will be bringing its petting farm.
This is a great place for children of all ages and their families to learn about life on a small family farm. They offer an opportunity for everyone to learn, interact and enjoy the adorable assortment of clean, friendly farm animals such as potbelly pig, rabbits and ducks.

Beaver Brook is continuing its call for artists to make this event special. All original artwork by both amateurs and professionals is eligible. The accent of the artwork should be on New England settings, but art reflecting a nature theme elsewhere in North America may be included.
Beaver Brook will be accepting artwork for display from Sept. 18-21 at Maple Hill Farm. If you are interested in displaying your work at the Fall Festival, all rules, details and entry forms can be accessed at www.beaverbrook.org. There is also a children’s art exhibit in the historic Cooper Shed and we encourage children of all age groups to submit their work.
The Fall Festival is the signature annual event of Beaver Brook Association and as well as the fabulous display of artwork, there will be activities of interest for all age groups.More details of these activities can be found on the Beaver Brook website, www.beaverbrook.org.
