HB wrestles way to the top in Vt.

The Hollis Brookline wrestling team finished in first place out of 22 teams at the Bob Benoure Invitational on Saturday in Vergennes, Vt. The Cavaliers beat Noble, Maine, Saranac, N.Y. and Peru, N.Y. to secure the championship.

Winning individual titles for the Cavaliers were Nathaniel Lindsay (138 pounds) and Wyatt Farwell (160), while Caleb Lomme (182) finished in second place. Nick McPherson (145), Kayne Robert (195) and Clement Sherwood (220) finished in third place, while Garrett Klausner (120) and Christian Lopez (170) took fourth.

Lomme’s finals match was named the Outstanding Match of the night.
