Gate City Series road race schedule announced

NASHUA – The Toyota of Nashua Gate City Series announced five races starting at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, June 23, with the Salvation Army Run Into Summer 5K at Greeley Park in Nashua.

The series will include the Home Stretch 5K and Kids Fun Run at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at Nashua Community College; the Kelly Mann 5K and 3K Fun Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Sunset Heights Elementary School, Nashua; the Santa Fund Run 5K and 10K at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the YMCA of Greater Nashua; and the Trot Off Your Turkey 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the Amherst Village Green.

Proceeds from each race benefit a different charitable cause in Greater Nashua. In addition to leveraging and supporting the missions and causes of each race, the series fosters fitness, health, camaraderie, light competition and fun for all.

Anyone who completes at least four event will receive a free series jacket.

Until Wednesday, June 22, series registration will be $90 for adults and $60 for ages 14 and younger. The registration fee will be refunded for anyone who refers five friends.
