Hollis Strawberry Festival set for June 26

HOLLIS – The annual Hollis Strawberry Festival will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 26, on the Town Common.

The festival features the best of the best: local strawberries, homemade biscuits, hand-whipped cream and homemade ice cream. Entertainment will be provided by the award-winning Hollis Town Band performing familiar and classical works.

The festival has kicked off the summer season for more than 70 years. It’s an all-volunteer event with more than 150 local residents contributing their efforts to make it a cherished community event. The strawberries are grown in Hollis at the Lull and Brookdale farms, which represent the Hollis farming tradition.

The rain location is Hollis Brookline Middle School, 25 Main St.
