HB Interact students visit with seniors

HOLLIS – On Saturday Oct. 29, 10 of the Hollis Brookline Interact members got up early to go to The Arbors of Bedford to play games with some of the residents, and to help serve them lunch. It was the first time, for many of them, that they met people with severe dementia. This did not hold them back. The students played Domino’s and Tic Tac Toe. They read to the patients and played answering games, allowing the residents to reminisce about some wonderful memories.

The Hollis Brookline Interact group now consists of high schoolers and middle schoolers. Their unwavering desire for community service allows them to experience the joy of giving.
