Library to hold bike tuneup clinic

BROOKLINE – The Brookline Public Library will host John Burkitt and Marc Paquin of gate City bike Coop for a Bike Tuneup and Safety Clinic on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m.-1:30 pm.

For the first hour, John and Brookline Police Officer Rick Nicosia will speak about bike safety and rules of the road.

From 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., John and Marc will be available for quick bike tuneups. Fifteen minute slots will be available for sign-up at the circulation desk at the library. Tuneups will be quick adjustments and minor repairs, with recommendations for more involved repairs if needed.

Gate City will also be accepting bike donations, during the event only, no drop-offs, please. See their website at https://gate
