High Hopes Foundation in Merrimack to hold Spring Gala

NASHUA – Merrimack’s High Hopes Foundation will hold its Spring Gala at Nashua Country Club, 25 Fairway St., on Sunday, April 13.

The gala will begin at 4 p.m. with a red carpet walk. Guests will be treated to tapas, dessert, live music and a silent auction.

The event will bring together community leaders from Greater Nashua and Manchester.

High Hopes is a nonprofit charity founded in 1983. The organization is dedicated to granting life-changing experiences to chronic and seriously ill children in New Hampshire. Wheelchairs, a handicap-friendly swing set, a handicap-accessible van and family trips are examples of experiences granted.

“The number of children who qualify to receive an experience is increasing,” said Shaunae Nolet, president of the foundation’s board of directors. “It is through events like the gala we are able to make these children’s dreams come true.”

The gala is sponsored by Brookstone Corp., major event sponsor; Centrix Bank, red carpet sponsor; and Holloway Motors Mercedes-Benz, High Hopes fan sponsor.

“High Hopes Foundation is a primarily volunteer organization that relies on the support of individuals and the business community to continue and expand the mission,” said Rachel Cameron McMeen, director of High Hopes.
