Winter Holiday Stroll in Nashua on Saturday
NASHUA – The Winter Holiday Stroll will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, in downtown Nashua, with more than 75 options.
You’ll find old favorites such as the ice carvings on City Hall Plaza and the New Hampshire Astronomical Society in Bicentennial Park, and Santa Claus will be waiting for visitors at the Hunt Memorial Building. There also will be Homes for the Holidays; a gingerbread house contest organized by the teen youth group of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, held 4-9 p.m. on the second floor of Martha’s Exchange; a craft fair from 3-9 p.m.; and organ, violin and choral performances from 5-8 p.m., hosted by St. Patrick Church (for information, email Janet Polaneczky or call 930-5090).
A Festival of Trees will be held 4-9 p.m. at the Hunt Building, a family movie and story time will be at Cava de Vino and the Nashua Area Artists’ Association’s Holiday Artisan Market will be at ArtHub, 30 Temple St. (visit nashuaareaartistsassoc.org or naaa-arthub.org).
