Registration for UNH summer camps opens
DURHAM – From acting to programming, writing to technology, the University of New Hampshire offers more than 40 summer camps and programs to entertain and educate K-12 youths.
Registration for many of the offerings is now open. Programs range from traditional summer day camps to specialty athletics camps to arts camps, STEM programs and a variety of other academic subjects. Day and overnight programs are available.
Camps are at the Durham and Manchester campuses, in the White Mountains, at Mendum’s Pond in Barrington and at the Shoals Marine Lab on Appledore Island.
All programs are held in a supportive, safe and fun environment; instructors are UNH faculty and staff members, as well as high school teachers and college students.
Camps use UNH’s facilities, such as athletics fields; science, technology, engineering, math and computer labs; theaters and studios, kitchen facilities; and outdoor resources.
Some program participants also will experience college dorm living and eat in an award-winning dining hall.
